The Truth Will Out...

My Grandma often said -the truth will out; watching segregationists taunt with segregation today segregation forever.  She had lived from the late 1800’s, and in the 1960’s , she knew nothing stayed the same except the willingness of men to be utter fools.
My Grandma used to confront liars, straight faced and straight forward. She was a very serious woman, I rarely saw a face breaking smile; there were a few times when my crazy conduct nearly broke her will not to laugh out loud—somehow, she held it in…Liars have been a pet peeve for me, call it the consequence of imprinting on the skirts of the noblest woman I have known.

On this nation’s healthcare and politics, it is time to call out the liars. Events unfolding before our eyes unavoidably have the truth coming out in a storm of Republican and Conservative chaos.
- The GOP and Conservatives have clearly proven they are uncaring about American health.
- The GOP legislature  is incapable of crafting complex, public-focused health care legislation.
- The Republican Party cannot tell the truth to the American people about the damage they are willing to wreak upon millions of families that will lose their ability to get regular medical care due to Republican Party decision, acquiescence, or simply ignorance.

The GOP and the Conservative dark-money machine have simply lied and lied repeatedly. The healthcare law was not an evil thing worthy of angry retribution—it was just health insurance, better health for the poor, life-giving medical care, and the utmost we could offer in concern for our fellow citizens—we acted to give them longer and healthier life.
It is useful to read the present day confession of one of the chief architects of the national anger and resentment of the Affordable Care Act. Former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, who was beaten by a neophyte with a one-weird issue campaign, has finally shown some leadership.  He has mentioned the truth about the anti-Obamacare frenzy; it was an evil and fruitful tool.

The GOP managed to beat the public over the head with a lifesaving program that was in-fact saving their lives…so much propaganda, so much distortion, and such mean-spirited abuse of the American people.
Some things are answerable in politics, other things, I can only hope are answerable in eternity; truly in the case of Republicans and Conservatives, on healthcare, the truth will out!
